YOUTH SUMMER PROGRAM

June – August 2007

Goals and objectives

The ministries objective through the summer program is not only to provide activities for the youth and support for the parents. We are geared to educate our youth of historical events that lead up into today’s society. In hopes of helping them to better understand the importance of functioning as a unit for the continual development of the world.

This is to promote or to spark an interest in them. We hope to invoke that voice from within each youth to speak up. It is to strengthen them in not being afraid of intimidation but, to get involved and play his or her part in the success of his/her future society. It is to make them aware that their life plays an important role in the world in which they live. And to know their reason for existing is not accidental according to God. (Rom. 8:29, 30; Is. 49: 1, 5)

Steps to Success

The youth counselors will schedule field trips of various historical sites as well as important and current agencies, facilities and the interviewing renowned people.

The youth counselors, along with the youth will visit the sites, obtain information, take notes and discuss each activity.

Each age group of the youth will do some sort of report depending on their capabilities and submit to the counselors.

Each youth will voice his or her feelings and/or opinions with a resolution for the situation or with their suggestions to improve the situation.
