Community Outreach Assistance Services (CORA’S)

Welcome to the Action Zone------à

Our Mission

Our Mission is to bring hope to many lives by helping the parents to move forward and seek a higher level in life--H-O-P-E. Help, Opportunity, Prosperity and Education.

Our Vision

To begin now to witness the incremental betterment of our community and to see fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers and the youth love life.

Our Objective

To create a better tomorrow.  To make you feel it today. To pave the way for others by transforming their lives and helping them reach their destiny.

About Us

The program was started by Lynda Branch, the former director of AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She started the Earn While You Learn Program on January 6, 2005.  Between then and now, seventy-six parents were able to graduate, sixty-nine mothers, four fathers, 2 grandfathers and one grandmother.  The program is still a success at the current center.  The program has enabled parents to finish school, find jobs, receive education in parenting, spiritual growth, and to fulfill their goals and dreams and reach their destiny.

G.E.D. Program

Earn While You Learn

The program is for expecting mothers/father, and any parents or grandparents with children up to 3 years, with special requirements.

Parents can “earn” baby clothes, diapers, cribs, car seats and many other necessities by learning.  The program pairs a mother or a father with a counselor who meets with them for eight weeks.  Every lesson earns Mommy dollars.  This money can be spent in our Mommy store.

Cora’s Teen Talk is designed to help teens to reach their destiny.  It challenges them to set goals, aspire to achieve and fulfill their dreams in life.

Real life circumstances will be presented through skits, singing, praise dancing, and testimonials that we are facing on a daily basis.  We look forward to having a great time as we share with our youth information that will help them to make better decisions as they reach the crossroads of life.
