Career Opportunities in Ministry

Career opportunities exist in various sections of this Ministry.   The Church is making very positive impact in our community, and is seeking to put in place trained and sharpened ministers to work in the respective departments. Consequently, the local assembly in Raleigh has the following openings:

Music Minister:  Position is ministerial, and will serve as part of Altar Ministry of First Pentecostal Power Fellowship in the Raleigh local assembly. Successful candidate will assist leadership in the area of music for praise and worship. Teach new songs. Help the choir and instrumentalists to rehearse towards worship service. Stimulate church attendees into worship.  Carry out other ministerial functions as may be assigned.

Qualification:  Born Again. Filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  Graduation from college or university with a degree in Music.  Five years experience as a professional musician.  Knowledge of musical instruments and skills on keyboard or guitar.  Two years experience in choral music as Choir Director.  Ability to plan and coordinate music events.

Director of Foreign Missions:   Position is ministerial, and will serve as part of Altar Ministry of First Pentecostal Power Fellowship in the Raleigh local assembly. Successful candidate will make substantial contribution to the ministry's foreign missions policy.  He will also be part of local assembly leadership. Articulate the ministry's foreign missions direction.   Travel at intervals to missions fields as the needs arise.  Take instructions and execute world evangelism programs.  Develop a networking platform with other missions-oriented churches with a view to creating missions-specific synergy for FPPF.   Carry out other ministerial functions as may be assigned.  Also be abile to quote, find and teach texts and concepts from the Holy Bible.  First-hand acquaintance with, at least, three African countries.  Ability to work in a team environment. Candidate will strive to maintain FPPF's platform for the bridging of foreign cultures and the American Christian world.

Qualification:  Born Again. Filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of  speaking in tongues.   Graduation from a Bible Institution or serminary.  Two years experience as Evangelist.  Two years experience as a missionary.  Fluent in English Language, Creole and, at least, two African dialects.    Basic writing and analytical skills.

Asia Missions Liaison Officer: This is a ministerial position, and will serve as part of Altar Ministry of First Pentecostal Power Fellowship in the Raleigh local assembly. Successful candidate will work with the Foreign Missions Directorate, and will pay particular attention to the ministry's outpost in Nepal (in the Himalayas).  Candidate for this office will cultivate extensive relations with Nepalese culture with a view to making the ministry helpful to the ailing peoples of the Himalayas. Candidate will serve as a bridge-builder between FPPF Foreign Missions and Asian cultures.  Partaking in the Altar Ministry gives the candidate immediate access to ministry hierarchy for quick decision making purposes.

Qualification: Born again.  Filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  Graduation from a Missions Training Institution.   Specialization in one or more Asian cultures.  Personal interest and an understanding of Nepal and India.  Five years experience as a local church officer in a non-American but diverse congregation.  Exposure to American missions training prior to this engagement. Willingness to undergo further training under the ministry.
