God’s Gift Travels
Have you ever thought about where the blacks
in the United States came from? You may give a blanket answer that they are
from Africa, and you will be correct. All of them probably came from Africa,
but not all of them descended from former slaves. The group of blacks descended
from former slaves came from a specific place on the continent of Africa. Those
slaves were taken by force by whites to come and till the ground for them in their
newfound land. Those blacks came to that African spot from Egypt. They left
Egypt when Pharaoh let the people of God to go out of Egypt. The story cannot
be exhausted in this little space and time.
I invite you to come with me on pilgrimage to
the holy land from where our ancestors were forcefully taken away. When do you
